Where Can I Pet a Capybara in Florida?
Right here, three times over
The Capybara Cafe offers guided capybara sessions at three Florida locations: Fort Lauderdale, St. Augustine, and St. Petersburg. Every location is operated by Noah's Ark Sanctuary, and every booking supports rescue, rehabilitation, and lifelong animal care.
What a session is like
Small capped groups sit with capybaras and other animal ambassadors in a calm cafe setting, guided by experts who know each animal personally. You touch, feed during select experiences, learn, and take the photos of your life. Animals participate on their own terms, which is why the famous calm is real here.
Choosing wisely matters
Wherever you meet exotic animals, ask who runs it, how animals can opt out, and where the money goes. We publish our answers openly because we are proud of them.
